Making Social Performance Simple
Simplicity is a defining feature of sustainable social performance. Projects are often introduced to social performance as a condition of financing, or as a solution to community challenges. Regardless of why it begins, if social performance is simple, then people are more likely to practice it throughout the life of the project.
At a minimum, good social performance should result in no harm to communities where projects operate - something that is surprisingly challenging to achieve. Great social performance results in positive impacts for projects, people and communities. The difference between good and great is typically not related to money. Adequate funding is a necessary minimum but it is the people, the expertise, the humanity that really predicts outcomes and impact. No matter what, at the end of the day, social performance done right should leave Projects thriving and communities developing.
Project Communities excels at making social performance accessible to people in all roles and projects of all sizes.
